Colin here, one of the creators of Lorelai. Kenny and I started Lorelai in our dorm room at MIT after getting addicted to coloring books (and their procrastinatory power).
The big idea is to be able to convert photos into physical coloring books instantly. Other services like ColorMeBook will trace images by hand, which is reflected in their high price. We use signal processing to automatically convert photos into coloring books. Our edge detection is so fast we can even run it live on iPhone.
