Hey, this is Damon, initiator of Lonely Dev here! This community was born in the quarantine period of Covid-19. Lots of people are working from home. We have so many text-based forums, communities. Username becomes our only identity and symbol. Personally I don't like it. Text is cold, face is warmer. I like to see people's face, hear them to express their happiness and sorrow. We do support sending personalized video reply as a comment. By using this novel interaction, it shifts the paradigm from 'anonymous user' to an unique human face. You can build more human, real relationship with other members.
