Seeing that security and privacy are more and more sensible topics, we come up with an idea of a personal cloud box. A cloud storage as all the boxes out there, but with a twist. Instead of storing all your files on our servers, in some data-center, we just store it on one of your PCs. This way you have as much space as available on that PC. Even with an nowadays average hard-drive it means a lot. Other than this, Lollyo works exactly as you already are used to. We see Lollyo as one of the first of its kind, a type of product that we think will get a lot more popular in the following years, as people's concern with privacy and how they manage their data on the web increases. By giving the user complete control over their data, products like this can help change the industry and, possibly, give enough incentive to big companies to force more privacy into their cloud services. We're only a handful of people working on this project, pouring into it all of our finances, free time and energy. But while time and energy is not what we can ask for from you, it is your financial contribution that will help free us enough to keep working on Lollyo, making it better, add new features that we're already talking about and planing for, offer prolonged support and, in the not so distant future, develop more products like this. We want Lollyo to be the answer when people tell us they worry about leaks, privacy, security issues, and we want to avoid the type of situations that Pogoplug found itself in recently. I'm using it for couple of months, no problem yet. I installed the storage app on my kind of old PC which runs only Plex server. I have Lollyo app on two phones and one tablet. So, now I have all the cloud space I need and also access to my Plex files:).

Pros:

- I can increase the storage size as much as I please;

- High upload/download speed;

- Works on all my devices;

- Sharing folders;

Cons:

Preview only on images and not also on movies.
