Hi! Like many others, we've found the lack of open toilets a real barrier to going very far at the moment, seeing friends or going to the shops. As the UK's current toilet databases all seem to be out of date, my brother Charles and I have created lockdownloo.com. It is a way for people to submit open toilets they find - whether they be at pubs, cafes, parks or stations. It's meant to be fun and community-spirited. The website is only as useful as the information we are supplied. If you know of toilets which are open in the UK - whether they are at pubs, stations, cafes or in a public park - please SUBMIT them. We are monitoring council updates too. So far we have just over 30 loo-cations and want to hit by 100 by the end of today. We're updating the map regularly and will expand out of London if it's popular. We just want to help people answer nature’s call in a dignified way (while socially distancing).
