Hi everyone. My name is Hazrul and I’m the founder for this app (LocationCheck). I got the idea when I was on holiday with my family in London (really loved the place). Due to the recent events happening around the area I was worried about my family’s well being. That was when I got the idea of building an app where I am able to know the current events happening around the area. Hope you guys can give it a try and see if you liked it. There is so much news that never gets reported, but police and crime data is public record in most cities and counties. Sentiment is meaningless and subjective, but if you tapped into the crime databases and scored a location based on the type of crime, frequency, and severity, this would be of interest.

@rmagrino Hi Robert. Yes you a correct but that might further limit it to only crime related activities which is not the purpose for this app. Although it might be interesting if there is a way or api to gather crime data. Perhaps the next idea :)
