Local Operator is a generic agents platform that I started as a passion project to improve my own productivity, and it's a daily driver app for me! What's different about Local Operator agents: 1. Agents can work in the background on your files and media, research things on the web, and execute code on schedules. They can work on recurring daily tasks to get things done for you if you ask them to do so. A single instruction leads to daily productivity 2. Agents use code as a universal tool, meaning they can find ways to solve problems where no tool or MCP has yet been created for it. They plan and execute, finding ways around roadblocks to solve your problems. 3. Agents can talk to each other and tag each other in: when an agent realizes that a certain step of its workflow can be done better by a teammate, it will choose to delegate that part to another AI agent that has specialized knowledge and experience I'm constantly improving the platform to tackle more and more use cases and add more out-of-the-box integrations. It's primarily meant to help accelerate small businesses and builders who want to remove daily papercuts from their life and focus on delivering value to their users/customers. If you use Radient Pass at sign-up it ends up being cheaper than BYOK because of the automatic model, which picks the best model for the job and finds ways to work in cheaper models for most of the agentic flow, and use expensive models sparingly.

The idea of having a team of proactive AI agents that learn and work in the background with Local Operator sounds like a truly powerful and efficient way to automate tasks.

@supa_l indeed, it's something that excites me! I think proactive agents are where things are going for the next level of productivity unlock

Human context is limited and the thing that makes the best human assistance different from AI assistance (among many things) is the ability to foresee needs and work proactively, requiring much less instruction and freeing up context

Agent Schedules are the first feature that I launched in LO that moves it in this direction, where you could ask a LO agent to work constantly on something, improving it every hour and finding new opportunities based on research, notifying you about changes in the world that you care about, and provide value to you without you needing to constantly provide instruction

I'm constantly releasing new features every week, so expect LO agents to continue to improve in proactivity!
