Listen Later is a free service for converting videos into an audio podcast, which makes it easier to catch up on your video backlog during chores, errands and commutes. Listen Later works with services supported by youtube-dl.
@bradjasper Love the idea, Its annoying when I am on the underground and i don't have anything to watch and listen too.
This sort of idea is always though for content owners tho as they dont get ad revenue or videos from offline content.
Also the sites that offer youtube mp3 downloaders are just people looking to download free music and listen to it offline.
@sab8a Good points! Would love to find a way to still support content creators with this, not sure the best way there right now. Also if I see people using it to download music I’ll likely add some restrictions to help stop it, thanks for feedback!

However my first attempt was unsuccessful. I tried to paste a longer youtube video (1:20h) and it just froze in "pending".
Also, if I close the tab and come back to the site again I would expect to see my podcast channel with 1 item pending or something. Instead it treats me like a stranger :-/
@martin_christov Sorry for the issues, the server ran out of space! I think that was the problem, I'm upgrading now and everything should get processed, thanks!
