Bit.ly and other url shorteners don't stop bots and count them in analytics as valid clicks. We stop these bots with a CAPTCHA! You can simply add an "s" in front of bit.ly links (sbit.ly/AbCdEfG) or generate secure linksafe.ly links for other types of links.
@majah87 No you don't. You can just add an "s" in front of your existing bitly links to secure them, or go to https://linksafe.ly and use our link generator to generate a linksafe.ly link. Both work the same way and protect your links from bots.
