Too bad you need a computer to make it run. I wonder why there's no one HDMI input and an HDMI output so the colors detection can be made by the box itself.

@snapeuh I could see that as an additional feature in the future, but it makes me wonder if they'd have to deal with HDCP decoders for broadcast HD content and movies. That might be a more difficult technical feat than we realize.

I actually backed this on Kickstarter and was pretty disappointed. Half of the light strips are now faulty (started only a few months after receiving it) and the software never gets updated. @stephensilber thank you for the feedback! we recently fixed almost all of the major issues, including multi-monitor support. So just grab the latest version of Prismatik app from our website. And we are going to make a major release coming weeks with brand new UI
