We created this app to solve a problem we had in our own business. The process of finding houses to send out letters with the hopes of getting a chance at either wholesaling it or flipping it is involved.
The old way of doing things was to find a house and write down the address on a pad of paper. Then after you had found enough homes, you'd return to the office put it into an excel spreadsheet, create a mail merge, print the labels, label the envelopes, stuff the envelopes with letters and go to the post office.
That was too much work and not a great use of time. So instead we created this app letterfly. Now you geolocate, pick the house that needs a letter and either save it to database to do something with it later or just click "send a letter".
We've teamed up with an amazing service that handles all of the mailings for the real estate investors.
The most interesting part about this app is that it isn't just for people in real estate. Our goal is to have HOA's using it to be able to send out letters to homeowners.
Other use cases are real estate agents using it to send out letters to the neighbors of the client after they've successfully sold their house.
