We wrote an application that aims to crowdsource information on how COVID is affecting people. The data we capture is 100% anonymous, and open for anyone to use. We have translated the application from English into Xhosa today. More languages coming soon!
At first, we set out to create this for South Africa, but there is no technical limitation that keeps anyone around the globe from participating. We have registered a domain called covidstatus.xyz, which we will setup as soon as the project is open sourced. The team is busy setting up the repository for anyone to participate in the further development. Any comments, feedback, suggestions or ideas - please comment :)
