Why I built this skill?
I had plans to travel around & visit a few countries. The preparations were all done, but the trip itself wasn't possible anymore due to the pandemic.
To get over the gloominess š¢ associated with plans going down the drain, I started learning a new language to interact with locals the next time I get to travel. āļø
Meanwhile, I got into the finale of "The Great Indian Alexa Hackathon" on HackerEarth & the theme was, "Transform daily boring tasks, lessons to interesting ones with Alexa!"
Ergo, my ideas for the finale aligned in the same direction & I decided to build Learn Lingo! šØāš«
Why this skill is important to me?
This is the first skill I have published in almost 14 months!
I did work on a lot of others too, but they were not personal projects.
This is my first major side project to see the light of day.
I designed & developed the end to end conversational experience along with Mohan Raj's superb work on making it a visual delight! š
