Hey everyone! We were in the process of validating various product ideas, and wanted a quick tool that let us quickly create and share a Lean Canvas board online with no account creation. We couldn't find anything that let us create, save, and share a board without requiring an account so we decided to make it. I'm happy to answer any questions, or take any feedback that you've got!

@gabriel_eidler Thanks! We'll take a look.

Hi. It's not very clear to me where is the data saved? Looks like it's in the cloud, accessible by the unique URL the app generates. But, then it's publicly accessible? Also, the terms, or privacy pages talk about creating an account. There no account creation of login. Could you clarify?
Noah Callaway
@aditot Hey Alex! The data is persisted in AWS in DynamoDB. The unique URL the app generates is indeed publicly accessible. In the future we plan on adding private boards as well. There is currently no account creation or login mechanism, and only anonymous public boards are available. We plan on adding account creation in the future, which would allow for private boards, which is why we added that to the terms and privacy pages. Thanks for the interest!

@ncallaway I was hoping you stored the data in the browser cache instead, but didn't seem so after testing

@aditot Hey Alex, Were you hoping that the data was *only* stored in the browser's local storage, or were you hoping the data was additionally saved in the browser's local storage? One feature we want to enable is the easy sharing of boards, which is why the data is saved remotely. Is there an "offline-editing" capability you were hoping for, or are you coming at it more from a data privacy angle of not wanting the data shared remotely. Cheers!

@ncallaway given that this is not behind a password, it was the data privacy concern
