Hi all! 👋
I've been working on LaunchPalette, a macOS app and window switcher, and I'm excited to introduce it here :D
With LaunchPalette, you can for example:
• Open or focus on Safari with Right ⌘ S and Calendar with Right ⌘ C. (You can still use Left ⌘ C for copying text)
• Open or focus on Mail with Right ⌘ M+A and Messages with Right ⌘ M+E.
• Open or focus on a specific project. I've assigned Right ⌘ X+L for Xcode LaunchPalette project and Right ⌘ X+T for Xcode TabBack project.
• Hide the frontmost app, or cycle through its windows in the order they were used, by pressing the app’s shortcut again.
• Change modifier keys (⌃,⌥, and ⌘) or create more palettes with other modifier keys.
You can try out LaunchPalette for 7 days without limitations. If you have any comments, I'd love to hear them, and happy 2024!
Hello. Congratulations on the launch. I'm having trouble understanding. What specific problem does this tool solve and what pain does it address? @seungwoochoe
@kostyadoronin When using my computer, I often had to press command + tab multiple times to focus on the app I wanted to use. LaunchPalette lets you focus on an app right away with a keyboard shortcut, eliminating the need to think about how many times you should command + tab or check the app icon on screen. So it can provide a faster and more convenient way to switch between apps (and project windows as well). And thank you for your comment!
