Such an adorable little guy. I like how much utility is squeezed out of such seemingly simple mechanics. I also like how much specific attention was given to make it behave in an adorable way, and not move too robotically. Great concept, design and presentation! Congrats on the launch!
Wow! I love it, I love it, I love it! 🔥
There was a similar robot for a while. It could be coded. I remember that. But I think it went bankrupt. At first, I thought it was Boston Dynamics. Good video. It was very Boston-like in its goals and stuff. Then, when my excitement wore off, I realized it wasn't like that.
When I thought it was Boston Dynamics, I had 3 things in my mind as the reason for making this product.
1. To get more users to connect with the brand emotionally.
2. Of course data.
3. To enable users to develop the product with this open source, which is growing like an avalanche, like the open source projects that Meta is doing now, such as Llama and Google. It was a very cheap and high-return plan.
But it wasn't Boston. And then I thought, why would anyone want to do something like that? And then I immediately found the answer. He's broke like me. :D He wants to make a living doing what he loves.
I think you should use UGC to avoid bankruptcy. And I know it's a hardware product, but you can also make a virtual one. Virtual turtle. Free. You can reach more people. Think of it like virtual pets.
Good luck.
