Kobra was a part of our inaugural Replit Ventures cohort. Fun fact - they built this entire product while in high school. We are honored to be supporting them during their first official launch!
👋 Hi Product Hunt!
We're really excited to be launching Kobra today, a visual programming language (like Scratch) for machine learning.
We're a team of four high school students who have been working on this for the past year, and we're super excited to finally share this with the world.
🤔 Problem
Learning machine learning is hard.
Last spring, I tried to learn machine learning based on online YouTube tutorials, and it was very challenging – not just because of the actual ML, but because most machine learning tutorials/frameworks use languages like Python along with many other libraries. This made it harder for me as I didn’t have this prerequisite knowledge. Our team realized that machine learning concepts don't have a fundamental link with text based languages, so we created a system that doesn't pretend they do.
🛠 Solution
Kobra is a block-based visual programming language (like Scratch) designed to help people learn machine learning. Our editor, Kobra Studio, is tailored to building machine learning applications, featuring built in data visualization, a dataset manager and editor, and an easy to use library of machine learning models. We use a block-based code editor to reduce the barrier of entry as much as we can and to make it possible to focus on what your project is doing, not syntax or complicated programming concepts.

Let us know if you have any feedback or questions! Also, if you'd be willing to do a ~15-minute user interview session with me, it would really help us out a lot, and you'll also get a Kobra sticker! Just schedule a meeting on https://calend.ly/pranavnt and I'll follow up with you via email.
