My name is Thiago and @matei_obrocea and I are excited to introduce KlipLab - a platform that lets you create voiceovers and lip-synced videos using the voices of celebrities, public figures, and fictional characters using AI.
The idea for KlipLab was born from our experience running our Instagram account (compsci.brainrot), where we create computer science-related content in meme format for our 100K+ followers. One of our most popular formats involves celebrities explaining CS concepts. The process of voice cloning, lip-syncing, and editing was time-consuming, so we realized there had to be a better way to streamline part of this process. That's when the first KlipLab prototype was born!
After getting lots of messages from followers asking how they could create similar videos, we realized that this tool could be valuable for anyone wanting to create engaging content for social media or just share fun videos with friends. So we turned our internal tool into a full-fledged product!

@matei_obrocea@fazolindo Right now, every audio generated on our platform includes subtle markers that identify it as AI-created. We plan to release a tool to allow anyone to check whether an audio/video clip was generated using our service.
