Kemento is a way to store your memories, for yourself, your partner and your family. Store more than just a photo or video, include when, where and who you were with.
I am not an avid user of social media but the value proposition seems lacking. You can set your instagram private to the people you care about, or share a google photos folder with someone. Itโs a huge market, but in my opinion the product needs extra focus on message and value proposition, instead of competing on everything photo related with the big guys. Good luck!
@nomadiceli Thanks, appreciate your comments. It is early stages at the moment, and finding the position and value is important. It does significantly differ from Facebook/Instagram and Google Photos/Dropbox etc in that everything is organised/categorised. So I can filter to photos of my children's birthdays in a matter of seconds, or all my Spanish holidays since I was born. I can create a timeline for my children, and they can continue that timeline on as their own when old enough.
I perhaps need to present this concept more clearly as I hoping I'm not competing with Instagram or Google Photos realistically.
@c_southam Chris, I think that unfortunately for you, your competition is indeed Instagram and google photos, unless you cater for photography fanatics and then you can drill to niches. The general public chooses only one or two winners unfortunately for each category. If the timeline is key here, maybe itโs good to build the message specifically on that value proposition. All the best fighting giants, more fights like that are needed, in a world where giants rule the land without competition :)
@livecoinwatchmb Thank you. I do use (and love) Sketch.

Looks nice but honestly it seems like I already use Google Photos for everything this does.
I have multiple shared albums in Google Photos, some with my family, some with my partner. I can search just fine and it even turns photos of my trips into slideshows and more things like that automatically. So I see not reason to use this..
@anna_0x Honestly I appreciate the opinion, but because there's already a solution, doesn't mean there can't two. Just means the market is validated already. I wanted to create something more private, to me and to the world of shared/sold data. Something people pay for, so they are the customer.
