My Number Lookup is text message service that analyzes the personal information that can be found publicly with just your mobile phone number. Based on the data it finds, it gives you a privacy score. The service was built over SMS, so interacting with the product happens over text. We chose SMS since it's a quick and agile platform to develop on and pairs well with the core offering. Once your number is verified and you give permission, we make requests to data brokers to see what info we can find. We don’t store any of this data. In fact, it’s the same data that reverse number lookup, caller ID and other similar services use to identify you based on your phone number or other identification. My Number Lookup may return details like your your full name, gender, home address, family members and friends’ names, former addresses, and phone carrier.
