We have just published Kasama in the JetBrains plugin marketplace! Kasama works like a sport fitness tracker, gathering data on: šŸ‘‰ your coding sessions, i.e. how long are you active in the IDE and for which project šŸ‘‰ your activity in different modules, and how the activity is split between test code and prod code šŸ‘‰ your version control (git) interactions: how often you commit, the lifespan your branches, and the types of branches you work on over time (feature, bugfix, etc.) šŸ‘‰ your testing interaction: how often are you running tests, how often are they failing, how large are they šŸ‘‰ the refactoring interactions: which tool-driven refactorings you use The plugin runs locally and provides graph visualization for the different stats. You can find more documentation here:
https://spark-teams.github.io/ka...
And here you can find the plugin on the JetBrains marketplace - it works with IntelliJ IDEA as well as with other JetBrains IDEs: https://plugins.jetbrains.com/pl... We would love to hear from you if you would like to give it a try!

Really cool idea, congrats on the launch! Going to try it out! I would love to see something like "Lines of code added by AI", that would be very interesting.

@ramin_ Thank you very much! We will keep an eye on how to include AI-related stats as well.

Wow, @michael_hauck, this is such a cool idea! I love the concept of tracking coding habits like this – it's like having a personal coach for coding! The graph visualizations sound super helpful too. Can't wait to give Kasama a shot. Do you think you'll add more features in the future? It would be awesome to see some gamification elements!
Michael Hauck
@blankwebdev Thank you! Yes, more features in the future are definitely planned. And gamification is indeed something we were thinking about before. We are going to have a look at that, too. It would be great if you try Kasama, let me hear what you think!

Do you use Kasama?
