Karambol works like a search engine and aims to provide relevant travel itineraries while matching one's travel preferences: -Best places to go -Relevant order of visits -Estimated travel time between places -Map with all the suggested attractions -And more!
Founder speaking :).
Paper guides and travel blogs are quite frustrating to me: too much content, very time consuming in terms of reading, new (not so) “must sees” added every year just to justify a new edition / post and extensive use of (unnecessary) storytelling.
I like having the “best of the best” places to visit and have help building my itinerary. I know many others proceed the same way. This is why I started Karambol: travel guide to its essentials. Not less, not more!
It is currently a side project. If you have any idea to make it into a full-time job for me, don't hesitate ahaha. If you simply want to make Karambol better, I’d be pleased to read your feedback as well!
Just tried it and it's great! Congrats @boramy_gau Would love to see more countries on it! I've been trying to plan a 3 weeks trip to Australia for months now but I never find the time to go through all that content...
If you want it to become your full-time job I may have some suggestions on how to monetize it without turning it into one of those travel blogs. I'd be happy to help!
