What do you think? …

When we launched the iOS version a few months ago a lot of people asked about Android. Today I'm happy to say the app has been published on the store and is available for all. Here is the deal, there's already many Japanese language learning app out there but they all focus on text books and school curriculum. Kann let you pick and choose what you are interested in (business, anime, food, slangs...) and help you level up faster. Vocabulary is what we all lack in Japanese so I build this app to help me learn and progress faster. I'm adding new dictionary and topics often, don't hesitate to ask for a specific topic! Have fun learning Japanese you care about!

@manuhortet You're welcome! I'm an Android user too, but SwiftUI was easier for me to start 😅

@sonu_goswami2 Thank you! It was harder than I thought 🤯

Does it also have any paid plan?

Anatole Ambroise Oïshi Ayadi

@busmark_w_nika Yes there is a paid plan (Monthly / Yearly) and also a one time payment option. However, the available content in the Free tier is set to last for about 6 to 9 months of practice (regular quiz length and daily activity) it contains Kana, Radicals, Kanji, an Advanced dictionary about Design, and a dictionary with the first 1000 most common words. The additional Dictionaries are paid.

I am learning Japanese, but I tend to forget words quickly. I wonder if this app can help users reinforce their vocabulary?

Anatole Ambroise Oïshi Ayadi

@evakk That is the exact goal! I'm right there with you and that is one of the reasons Kann exist today. It is using a Spaced repetition system (Kinda like Anki) that prioritise small chunks of words in a specific topic you care about. Than it's on you to practice and go through the quiz to make the word stick. Personally mastered the N5 kanjis in about 3 weeks and a good chunk of vocabulary (Slangs mainly) since I started building this app.
がんばります!

Sounds great! I will definitely give it a try!
