Get what you're looking for from any recipe URL. Strip away the life story, the email list popups, and the other fluff that makes it hard to find the recipe itself.
Just tried a few and it works. Removes all of those life stories before the recipe actually starts. This is great! Would love to hear from the ?makers a bit more about the background behind creating this.
@leandro8209 What? You don't want to know about my grandma's beautiful garden and how the light shone on her bright red tomatoes before reading my recipe?
@leandro8209 Glad you like it! I've been doing a lot more cooking recently, as I think many of us are during quarantine, and I just got tired of it being such a pain to get to the information I'm looking for on a recipe. I usually pull up a recipe on my phone, and with all the extra content, the pages jump around a lot while loading, which is such a terrible user experience.
And like @syswarren points out, none of us really need to read that novel about grandma when we're just trying to cook dinner.
Having to navigate personal life stories while dodging Wordpress ads is a running frustration in our home, so I'm excited to try this out! Next feature suggestion would be scraping the comments for "I replaced (literally everything) in the recipe and it came out great!" to generate new recipes :)
