Find, share and read the best articles, blogs and essays.

Juno is a place where you can store, share, read and find articles, blogs and essays online. We aim to create a central place on the internet to find amazing writing and ideas.
Juno was created to solve three problems:
- Not having a central place on the internet to find interesting articles (from all over the internet), blogs and essays to read;
- Not being able to easily keep track of the articles you read online;
- And bad readability of the article/blog on some websites.
The solution we came with is a “Goodreads for articles” platform, where users can find articles based on their reading behaviour and interests, via friends recommending cool things and all that with an integrated reader friendly - ebook like - reader mode for the articles on the platform.
I’d love to hear what you think! ❤️
@jorrit_keijzer@leandro8209 Hi Leandro! The previous launch was basically just somewhat of an upfront validation of the idea. This is the real deal. We also changed some of the MVP features we had in mind for instance focussing on making it easier to share articles, blogs and essays with people and waiting with a recommendation algorithm for articles :)
@jorrit_keijzer@leandro8209 Great, thanks for clarifying. I'm adding a 2.0 to the title, so the community knows it's an update. We usually do this. All the best with your launch 🚀
This looks good but there are much needed improvements to make it a regularly used app.
- Integration with Android's Share menu. I don't see users copying and pasting the URLs manually.
- Render codeblocks properly. Currently, the reader mode works pretty nicely for regular articles but completely falls apart on the posts which are code-heavy. Good syntax highlighting would be a bonus.
- A bit of customization on reader mode will be useful. Instead of leaning toward branding, lean toward the reading comfort and offer typography that's easy on eyes. Add some font sizing and line-height options too.
- Dial down the social aspect and focus on personal collections. Until and unless I grow a love for a product, I can't see myself recommending to my friends.
- Add an option to cache some articles offline.
- Add TTS integration.
As of now, Juno is not there yet but hopefully it'll be.
@jeremiahlee We do the same thing as pocket when it comes to storing articles, blogs and essays. However we are not aiming to create another pocket, we want to make it easier to share and find articles, blogs and essays from all over the internet. :)
