There are a bunch of free JSON formatters on the Chrome store, what makes this one different and worth paying for?

@gilgoldstein I designed JSON Master with UX and readability as a top priority. Rows are spaced cleanly, you can instantly copy lengthy key paths and paste them into your code (e.g. json.data.weather.location[0].temperature.celsius), you can adjust the font size - up to 21px for maximum readability, you can even adjust the font-family, preview images, etc. Everything is designed to make the experience of working with JSON in the browser way better, more user-friendly, more efficient. Everyone will value these things to a different extent, but for me, I work with JSON all the time and I value the UX/UI, readability, and feature improvements of JSON Master very highly. Hope that helps.

@mike_tromba it does look nice in the screenshots. I would suggest having a more lightweight free version to try. But it looks cool

Hello PH - I built this tool to improve the lives of developers who work with JSON APIs. This tool is for you if: - You're a developer - You work with JSON APIs - You use Google Chrome After using it for a while, I find myself getting excited to see what each new JSON payload looks like. This tool has helped me visualize response structures and improved my productivity significantly when a) working with new APIs and b) building out my own. It's saved me time and made my experience of working with JSON APIs a lot more fun. Excited to share it with you! It's available for purchase today at https://jsonmaster.com

Looks cool. But how is it blazing fast? And why is it worth paying for?

@shankredemption1 Hey. The DOM is generated with pure JS... no fancy frameworks or recursive / reactive components. It can handle pretty much any payload size you throw at it and loads very rapidly. Event listeners are bound just-in-time to avoid memory bloat, etc. Worth paying for depends on if you value the strong UX , readability, and quality-of-life improvements that JSON Master gives you. For some, any JSON formatter will do the trick. Personally, I value the time I save / improvements to the experience of working with JSON very highly. I use the tool all the time, so it is very worth it for someone like me!

Do you use JSON Master?
