JokeTab Extension

Hey Everyone! We built JokeTab to make the internet feel a little lighter — and to make doing good effortless. Every time you search, you get a fresh joke (dad jokes, puns, knock-knocks… you name it!) and behind the scenes, we’re helping generate donations to great causes at no cost to you. We built it as a browser extension so it’s always there when you need a laugh — and we’ve partnered with over 15,000 stores so that everyday shopping can help people in need. Here’s how it works: You search and get a laugh. Then, when you shop at any of our 15,000+ partner stores, JokeTab quietly pops up at checkout so you can choose a charity. If you purchase something, the store pays us a commission, and we donate that commission to the charity you selected. We think it is a pretty clever way to turn the shopping that everyone does anyways… into donations for worthwhile causes. A bit of my backstory: I was lucky enough to Co-found Tripadvisor and lead it for 22 years. When I stepped away, I knew I wanted my next chapter to give back in a big way — which led me to start Give Freely and launch JokeTab. 💬 What’s your favorite short joke?
