@paul_backwell @masump Morning Masum, at the moment we use the default strategies on the platform. However, we are closely monitoring usage of the platform/functions and as the platform grows over time we will be able to see (like npm) which services bubble to the top, and become more used, we will then adjust to ensure these do not have a cold start. We need to understand the usage of the platform and the functions, and then can make informed choices on the best patterns to use.
We have a number of ways to mange this going forward, but like most startups we need to see how it is used and the issues customers face and then ensure we tackle those.

Good Morning All,
Just a quick note to highlight that we offer a very user-friendly SDK, currently available for Node.js and Python, with support for Go, .NET, and Java in development. Enabling developers to seamlessly interact with our platform from your codebase in a couple of lines of code.
We also provide a range of AI use cases, with a standout feature being our streamlined function calling capability. This allows you to easily integrate our functions—or those created by the community—into your AI prompts, all with a single line of code.
This means you can ask an LLM a question and specify a function from the JellyFaaS library to use as part of the response. Traditionally, this process involves multiple steps: calling APIs with the LLM's requested parameters, retrieving the results, and feeding them back into the chat. JellyFaaS handles all of this for you. For example, if a customer wants to know if 'Game A' is in stock, you can make a simple call to JellyFaaS, specify the function to use, and it just works, retuning a curated response to the client.
Other AI use cases include the ability to easily upload documents to a vector database or query a relational database (RDBMS), making it straightforward for developers to manage and retrieve data.
JellyFaaS is designed to help developers build efficiently, without the need to reinvent the wheel every time! We are aiming to help developers get there ideas built quickly and shipped!

We're so proud of JellyFaaS and super happy that we can share it with the world now! Not only have we built a platform to make developers lives easier, we've also done everything we can to build it in a way that minimises the environmental impact as much as possible. Our SDK handles malformed requests client side, reducing the amount of malformed requests hitting the servers, we use lightweight proxy servers to refuse bad requests at the front door, further reducing bad traffic hitting the servers. In addition to this, our functions are optimised to be as lightweight as possible to minimise the power needed to execute them. By using JellyFaaS, you can reduce your own physical estate, reducing your own power needs.
