This kind of product makes me very weary. How is it making money to afford this service? Hoarding all of my data? I think it's going to be a hard pass for me.
Very sketchy. Offering a free VPN service with no clear explanation of the monetization and on top of that a badly worded android store page makes it doubtfull at best. And the fact that the maker Hunts himself also doesn't help. I would like to read some unbiased testimonials or more in-depth details of the way this works before I would even consider routing all my phones data through this VPN. Sure a VPN encrypts your connection but how can I trust the app that promises to do this?
@melvin_loos1 To be honest, there is some words that i don't even understand in your comment, but what i have understand is you are asking about what monetization we are uising, i have already answered this questions but if you didn't pay attention i can answer you with pleasure, so for the app we are using simple admob banner, and for the vpn that we use it's free open source vpn and we are using the api for free that's why we don't plan to charge anything for this app, the purpose of this app is more for the country that they can't get access to facebook for exemple.. and thanks again for your feedback
@elmehdimobi Yes I read the other comments but what I meant is in the presentation of the product. Whenever an android app promotes itself with FREE, FASTESTS and ULTIMATE I get very weary of it (since evil and not-so-honest apps are easily published). Using a free open source VPN is fine but it should make you wonder what this other service does with your data. Everything has a price and supplying a VPN service (I am talking about this opensource service) cannot be done without making costs. Your customer trusts your app and the service it supplies and in this case that is a very delicate and trust-based service. So you should take extra care in the way this is done and be transparent about the process.
I have no doubt that this service gives the user access to websites and other online services that might otherwise be blocked but the user puts more at risk then just downloading an app.
Btw even though English is not my first language I am quite sure my writing is fine. The way you write your response sounds a little hostile. Do understand this is constructive criticism so this is meant to help your product get better not burn it down.
