@marco_edemanti1 🤔 could you help me to better link your answer to my comments ?
Maybe I was not clear with my words :
I find your idea perfect to show how https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Be... works at the end.
This is a funny, simple and practical experiment related to this field.
Sorry for trying to understand you perfectly 🙏🏻😊
@johan_bavaud yes you are right :) looking at younger generation that show off their wealth with expensive gadget I thought that this could be a different way to do it that can engage them in a challenge of counter offer :)
@marco_edemanti1 All right, now I get your point 🙌🏻 Thanks
Idea : If your target is rich-kid-needing-to-show-their-wealth, try to launch a website which sells only 1 digital good like the « Ethereal Flame Pink war dogs »😄 (https://www.forbes.com/sites/dan...)
@augurisk i forgot to mention that the website will accept payment until 30 Oct 2021. After that the leader will decide a non profit organization to which donate part of the revenue!
interesting but can easily be a scam - without any trace of social proof or verification of real people paying, you could simply 'outbid' any real players with a random name that links nowhere (just as the current 'leader' Trikz currently links nowhere). Also, why in the world would a random person pay $23 to have their nonsensical username on the leaderboard? Here's how it works. Real person pays $1, your company removes them from the leaderboard and places a random name at $5. Real person pays $6, your company removes them and places a random name at $10. And so on. There's no verification or social proof, so only complete morons will pay.
@jakefowler Hi Jake ! You have a good point and it's something that i have thought myself about the social proof.
I'm planning to add the history of payment to have a kind of social proof. I agree with you about TRIKZ , he could be anyone but I swear that it's not me nor someone that I know. I don't get why he did not link any website ( I even emailed at him to ask if he want to add a link , but no answer ). All the people before him had a link to their twitter account or website, and trust me that it's kinda ugly for me having someone on the front-page without a link.
I even added my twitter account to the contact page to have some kind of social proof.
@marco_edemanti1 I think to provide more transparency and encourage involvement you should have:
* a clearly stated % going to the charity of the winner's choice
* social verification required (instagram, fb, twitter, linkedin, producthunt, tiktok, or yourstack linked)
* a feed of past visitors that have donated / played (link clickable from front page). This feed should also link to those players' social verification
With social verification, the additional website promo link can remain optional
@marco_edemanti1@jakefowler thanks you, i'll consider all of those consideration :) about the % going to charity I did not express a precise number since it depends on how much profits they will be generated. Meaning that I would like to give everything away except for the service expense :) After 200$ of profit i will donate everything :)
