The concept is fantastic but how does the app maintain its fun factor without making the habit building process feel like a distraction?
@olivia_johnston1 Hi, thank you so much for the feedback! 😊 Let me share a bit of my own "user experience".
Right now, I’m tracking 12 habits daily. Since I’ve been doing them for quite a while, they’ve become pretty automatic. I already know I should take a cold shower every morning, get 8 hours of sleep, wear my red glasses before bed, and so on.
So, as a user, I usually only open the app in the evening – that’s when I get the satisfying moment of checking off all the tasks and building a new house on the island.
At the same time, the thought of leaving the house unfinished usually pushes me to complete even the tasks I really don’t feel like doing that day. 😅
The idea of creating a house and an island is super inspiring. Are there options to customize the islands to make the experience feel more personal?
@samuel_morris Hi, thanks so much for the feedback! Users can choose which type of houses they want to build on their island. As we’ve found out, everyone has different preferences. Personally, I always go with the same house type, while some of our testers wanted to make their island as diverse as possible. 😄 For the new islands (which users unlock after building a certain number of houses), we’re thinking about adding even more personalization options — and thanks to the Unity engine, we’re not limited in what we can create, so the sky’s the limit! 🚀 Do you have any ideas on how we could make the island feel even more personal? 😊
