Promising Platform, Disappointing Experience
Investor Scout initially caught our attention with its promising platform aimed at bridging the gap between founders and investors. The concept sounded great, and we were eager to dive in. However, we quickly realized that the free version offered limited features, making it hard to get a genuine feel of the platform's potential. Despite the high monthly fee, we decided to take the plunge and upgrade to a paid account.
Our excitement was short-lived as our payment was accepted and confirmed, yet our account remained stuck on the free tier. We reached out to the support team, who suggested switching browsers or clearing the cache. Despite multiple attempts and following all the recommended steps, the issue remained unresolved.
While Investor Scout seemed like a great solution on paper, the technical hiccups prevented us from utilizing it to its full potential. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to rectify the payment registration issue, we reluctantly decided to move on. However, we do appreciate the prompt refund issued to us upon request.
Investor Scout still holds promise, and perhaps others might have a smoother experience.

Investor Scout 3.0
An investor CRM for founders to raise their seed round ๐
Investor Scout is an investor CRM and investor database for founders to raise their funding rounds. Investor Scout has 37k+ investors complete with angel investors, angel groups, venture capital funds, and private equity funds.
Hi there. I am looking for investors who focus on mental health and wellness. This may not be the same as health care services which is listed in your filters. Do you have a filter for that? If not, how would you suggest I locate them in your database?
@wilma_basta Hey thanks for reaching out Wilma! I think healthcare services is actually the best bet hereโโit's meant to be a bit broad. To narrow from there, I would filter for stage and check size (like seed/startup/early stage + min investment size <$1m)
Happy Thursday PH!
A few months ago we shared we were launching Investor Scout 3.0 here on Product Hunt and over 2k of you have signed up for updates (๐ฎ), so weโre really excited to finally get this shipped! ๐
Investor Scout 3.0 is a CRM for founders to raise their next round, complete with a database of 37k+ investors. Weโve documented and categorized investors from all over the world from angel investor groups, VC funds, and PE funds + their investment preferences (like locations, stages, and check size).
Compared to our last version, weโve added more powerful CRM features in Lists + magnified our dataset with fields like location, stage, industry preferences, min/max check sizes, assets under management, detailed investor teams for each fund, investor gender, and office addresses.
While weโve designed Investor Scout primarily for founders to raise their early pre-seed, seed, and series A rounds, a lot of the funds we track invest in later stages, all the way to LBO.It's free to get started with Investor Scout, with paid plans starting at $149!
