Hey Product Hunt, I’m David, one of the founders of InstaMap!

Quick Info:
- InstaMap is an interactive map showcasing your friends Instagram Stories based on their locations. We show user’s most recent location based on when they used the “Instagram Location Sticker” in their Story.
- We do not showcase user real time location or movement. Fully based on their Story and using the location based sticker.
- We do showcase many of the largest cities around the world and their Instagram Stories.
It’s surprisingly super fun to go check on the Tokyo public story and see what life is like out there on a daily basis.
- One of the coolest experiences I have ever felt is roaming around the map and really seeing where some of my Instagram friends are located. Plenty of times, I have caught myself wondering, “there’s no way he/she is in Europe.. They were just in New York yesterday!“
- When watching a story on Instagram and you see your friend showing off their location, you say to yourself “Oh, I know where that is.” - But really you have no idea until you see it on a map.
InstaMap, is a free iOS application and meant for everyone to have fun and experience the great product Instagram already is but in a new light. We’d love to hear what you think. @theashtube we are only trying to make the Instagram experience more interactive and better. If that is one of the routes, than that would be fantastic. Anyway we can help!
