We have been working on Inked for the last year and a half and we're hoping that offering it as a free alternative to DocuSign right now will help people get things done while working remotely. The main feature of Inked - its built-in conversational workflow builder - is pretty early stage right now. It handles simple linear workflows without logical conditions and has a limited set of field types. However, we plan on making that part of the platform extremely robust so that it can handle complex logic, interactions between multiple people that need to fill out data during the signing process, and integrations with external API's to build powerful customer onboarding and document automation workflows. Your feedback and support will help us make that a reality! We also have an API and webhooks, but not much documentation yet, so let us know if you want to use those features to integrate with existing systems and we will try to help as much as possible.
