Hypi is a low-code platform that lets you build GraphQL and REST APIs in a few seconds. Integrate with other services, use serverless functions, complete with authentication, authorisation, workflows, webhooks, realtime and more!
Hi @bigint - I believe there is some overlap in the problem we're solving though I would argue Hypi's aims are broader than Hasura's from what I know about it.
Hello!
Three years ago we set out on a journey to make it faster and easier to build scalable API services. After researching and iterating on 3 implementations, today it brings me great joy to share access to Hypi, a lowcode backend as a service platform that you can use to create APIs in literally seconds.
We built Hypi to take away the repetition and all that is dull from API service development. Hypi lets you integrate with other services easily and comes with a host of features including
CRUD GraphQL & REST APIs
API Playground
Authentication & Authorisation
Serverless functions
Webhooks
Realtime APIs
Event triggers
Simple but powerful query language for filtering
Pagination
and so much more.
We wanted to help you avoid learning and integrating several services and libraries for doing these things, each with their own conventions and APIs. Instead Hypi's brought them all into one simple, consistent and flexible API.

Hi @augurisk
1. Developers looking to build data driven applications (think mobile apps, dashboards, chats)
2. Founders needing to build and iterate on their products/ideas quickly
3. Software Agencies wanting to increase their project throughput by enabling their developers to build client projects faster and without the subsequent maintenance, monitoring, scale overhead
Another interesting one that is emerging for us are enterprises looking to modernise, take advantage of new tech without breaking existing ones and integrating with them. For example using the API gateway in the platform they are able to put a REST and GraphQL API in front of existing systems without modifying them and at the same time taking advantage of things like the authorisation controls to grant or lock down access to existing systems in ways they weren't able to before without modification - or dropping an old binary in a Docker container and executing it via a GraphQL or REST API. This digital transformation segment isn't one we originally had in mind but is looking promising.
