@victoria_wu Hi! Thank you for the question! There are a few things: - Right off the bat, users can create a personalized account using the AI chat. They do not need to deal with pre-set templates or workflows. They can just say what they want and chat to get it. For example, "I want to pick my next vacation destination". This is great because I think most of us have a much easier time just talking, rather than navigating software and trying to understand how things work, and how we can make them useful to us. The AI also provides suggestions, so it's straight-forward to get started, and to get a sense of what Hylark can do for you! Once someone has their account, they can customize further, again with the option of using the AI chat. - Hylark combines a lot of different apps into one. This concept itself is not new, but the extent to which we do it is unique. You can send and receive emails from Hylark. You can link those emails to custom records and view them within that custom record. And combine that with other features in context like To-dos, Links, Documents, Events, and more! - Visual workflows, like the Pinboard. You can create inspiration boards, or nice-looking visuals. We've also added a few fun things. If you feel like shaping your custom record images into hearts when you're doing something you enjoy, why not? - And if anyone is interested in the tech side of things - Our architecture is pretty cool. From the start, we built Hylark to enable powerful customizations, and for integrations (AI, emails, and more to come!). We're ready to take this to some very exciting places. We have many ideas about how we'd like Hylark to grow and keep offering people value, in a way that hasn't been done before.

@mariachr Congrats, Maria and team! Hylark sounds like a powerful tool. I’m curious how does the AI understand the nuances of a user’s goals to suggest the best setup, and how do you prevent it from feeling too "cookie-cutter" despite all the customization options? Excited to see where this goes!

@tonyabracadabra Haha, I love this question! This is something we’ve thought a lot about. The AI combines the information provided by the user, context cues, and its general training, along with information about Hylark, to make suggestions for the account structure. We didn’t make an AI that chooses a template for you. We made an AI that gives you a custom platform of your own design. We’re not limiting the setup or giving it directions like “If the user wants a CRM, steer them towards X” or “If the user manages projects, do Y”. We left it open to you. How do you want your CRM to work? How do you want to manage your projects? Tell the AI that. Other people’s preferences do not matter here. Just yours. As long as it conforms to the Hylark account structure, you can take it anywhere. I don’t know how many times we’ve run through the process during building and testing. In the thousands. It provides an immense range of options, depending on what you tell it you want to do. No two accounts made through AI are going to be the same.
