Hey everyone,
I'm Chris. I worked at Facebook & Amazon as a Software Engineer in London, studied at Oxford prior to launching Hustlr.
I built Hustlr to make professional networking easy, meaningful and accessible for everyone.
On LinkedIn most people have a number of people whom they don’t know that well or haven’t kept up in years, making it difficult for online introductions to take place.
Hustlr is building a better way to professionally network with others, matching people based on location, interests, and goals while taking away the awkwardness of sending requests to connect.
I think we can all agree that networking can be intimidating. Traditional networking methods, drinks after work or going to a networking event does not work for all, made even more profound by covid19.
The point is to make connections easily, whether that be finding a cofounder, mentor, or someone you’d like to learn from, or simply to expand your network, hop on a call.
I'd love to bounce ideas around as to how to keep making this product better and better, and I'll love to hear about your startup as well, especially if it's an app.
What are the biggest challenges you faced when you launched? Asides from the amazing PH community, are there any groups I can join?

This is a cool idea. Lots of forms to fill out to get started. Kind of a pain in that regard. My only issue is that it's kind of hard to know why I'm swiping people. Like I don't really want to talk to any of these people, but maybe down the line I would like to be. Am I building a contact list? I'm not sure what need this is supposed to be filling for me.
@crobertsbmw Thank you so much for trying out Chase! We try to limit the onboarding to as minimal as possible while making sure every profile is still useful and informative (namely the headline).
From your founder status, if you were to look for 'cofounders', investors, or a mentor in this space (always helpful at every stage) you'll pick "finding cofounders", "finding mentors", "look for investors", at the very start then you'll be matched with people who complements your professional goals. The ratio of senior business leaders to graduates are a bit skewed towards graduates at the moment perhaps that is why. Or maybe it isn't communicated clearly enough in the app. To that end, I'll improve upon.
