html.to.design is just a little over a year old and what a ride it has been! We’re already a top-10 Figma plugin with over 830,000 users worldwide. Every day we’re introducing plugin improvements and working on new features, which is why we thought it was time to present the latest version! So much has changed since our last launch, but we wanted to highlight the main improvements: Font mapping to replace missing fonts Enough of downloading missing fonts! Now, if the font is missing from your Figma you can replace it with another font of your choice and html.to.design will remember it every time you import that website. High-resolution images html.to.design can now detect high resolution images available in the image CDN of the website and replace the normal images with high resolution images in Figma! For example, if you capture a Pinterest board, you will get super crisp images. (Requires a PRO account) Enhanced Autolayout If you activate the "Autolayout" option, html.to.design will try to use as much autolayout as possible in Figma layers. This gives you great responsiveness in sections and components of the website and you can re-order elements in a group easily. This new version is more accurate when using Autolayout. Even better results Both the URL-imports and the imports via the Chrome extension have been improved. We delivered support for the upcoming CSS color module 4 (already used by some websites), we improved complex gradient support, and over a hundred small changes have been made to support even more use cases! Overall performance enhancements The performance has been greatly improved both in software and infrastructure. Imports can be up to twice as fast now! Whether you’re redesigning an old website, creating benchmarks in Figma or importing design assets from the web, html.to.design is your little superhero 🦸 We hope you enjoy html.to.design 3.0 and that it only further boosts your design process! We are already working on html.to.design 4.0. If you’d like to request a new feature: it's the best time! Tell us what you want! Kind regards, The ‹div›RIOTS team ❤️ PS: We also started to work on a new plugin for the opposite problem. figma.to.website let's you publish websites directly from Figma designs! Launching on Product Hunt soon!
