Not surprised to see HotelsTonight move in this direction after listening to @samshank's interview with @karaswisher on Re/code Decode.
@samshank - curious to hear your thoughts on the growing movement toward short-term and nomadic living. Is this a lifestyle you see increasing in popularity and if so, can you share any future product plans to support this group of people? E.g. an all-you-can-stay subscription service on HotelsTonight would be iiintteresting. 😊
@rrhoover@karaswisher Thanks Ryan! Nomadic living is definitely an interesting trend - I see it as part of a broader trend toward spontaneous living. Where should I go tonight - Napa? Vegas? A hip LES hotel with a rooftop pool? That's the lifestyle we enable. We'll continue to support this lifestyle and maybe even have a subscription offering (not showing our cards yet tho. :)
@samshank@rrhoover@karaswisher Agreed. Not just in the hospitality industry, but we're also seeing a huge shift in the workplace industry as well. Workers want flexibility.
