Hooklistener
Visual webhook debugging & testing tool
21 followers
Hooklistener is a developer-focused, easy to use tool for debugging, testing, and managing webhooks. It provides an environment to inspect payloads, schedule webhook calls, and automate workflows, helping you with the entire webhook integration process.
Hi again, Product Hunt!
A few months ago, we launched Hooklistener to help developers debug webhooks without frustration. The response was incredible, and your feedback helped us rethink what Hooklistener could be.
Today, we’re excited to introduce our pivot. It's not just a debugger anymore, we’ve built a webhooks-as-a-service platform that gives you full control over your webhook infrastructure.
What’s new in this v2?
✅ Bridges: Our webhook gateway feature. Route, transform, and forward webhooks to multiple destinations.
✅ Automatic retries: Built-in retry logic with exponential backoff.
✅ Alerts: We’ll highlight when deliveries fail or something looks off.
✅ New dashboard: Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic, inspect events, and track issues.
✅ Improved debugger: Still free, now faster and easier to use.
Why the shift?
We noticed developers were using Hooklistener not just for debugging, but to build full workflows. They needed visibility, reliability, and control. So we focused on that: Hooklistener is now built to manage both development-time testing and production-level delivery.
What makes Hooklistener different?
Developer experience: No bloated UI, no setup headaches.
Clear, intuitive monitoring: See every event, every retry, every failure.
No infra maintenance: Let us handle delivery, retries, and logs.
Free to start & affordable: Test and debug with generous limits.
What are the use cases for it?
Hooklistener helps you manage, debug, and monitor webhooks from services like GitHub, Stripe, and Shopify.
GitHub: Capture and inspect repo events like pushes, pull requests, and deployments.
Stripe: Handle payment events with retries and alerts to avoid missing critical updates.
Shopify: Route order or inventory updates to your backend and get notified if delivery fails.
Want to help us shape it?
We're still in open beta and eager to learn. If you deal with webhook delivery, routing, or observability, we'd love your feedback. Try it out, break it, tell us what’s missing, we’re listening.

Pretty cool tool! hooktap - which I just launched - is a webhook debugger as well but follows a different approach. I went for the lightweight, zero config route. Glad to see more developers realise that the webhook debugging flow is underserved and a fully featured suite exists! Well done, also love the UI.
Good luck with the launch guys. This is going be useful for a bunch or peeps!
