Hit.Movie is a self publishing platform for movie producers and production houses, indie and large. DRM protection, geo fencing, realtime payments, and worldwide tax compliance are baked in.

Happy to introduce Hit.Movie to ProductHunt.
Movie streaming is complicated because of the high quality encoding demands, need for content security (DRM, HDCP), geo restrictions, low latency streaming, multi-platform support, etc. Hit.Movie handles all these so that movie producers can get their new movie streaming worldwide in as less as 7 days - in upto 4K cinematic quality.
We went a step further. We integrated payments to ensure movie producers get paid transparently and in near-realtime. To top it all, we handle local taxation and reporting (on ticket sales) in most countries.
Hit.Movie works on all major browsers and apps are available for Google TV (Android TV), Apple TV, and Firestick. We highly recommend the apps if you crave 4K HDR cinematic experience.
HEADS UP: You will not find 100's of titles here. Hit.Movie is designed to showcase upto 14 latest movie releases on any given day and movies exit the platform after 14 days. So every movie gets the visual prominence and attention it deserves. For end users, Hit.Movie presents a clutter free browsing and viewing experience.
We need your feedback. Please be gentle :)
Hit Movie Team.

Seems interesting but I keep getting an error "unable to decrypt the encrypted video source" when I try to watch any of the free to watch stuff using Brave
@jason_pullara we don’t support brave browser as the drm doesn’t work on it. We are actively working to extend the functionality to multiple platforms and browsers.
@jason_pullara I just verified the drm support. stream works in brave browser. it prompts you to download widevine the first time. Widevine is the drm support within the browser
@ranjit_kollu1@frie_sakal Thanks guys! I wasn't getting any prompts. Must be a problem on my end, I'll dig into it later. It works fine in Chrome without intervention.
Hey @samdung, this is cool thank you for making it. Question on the type of movies - are you typically looking at sourcing feature films (most of the films are ~15 mins long)?
@ak1ra0 , Hit.Movie is built for full length feature films (>60 minutes). The films you see now are open source content that we have been using to test our encoding process. You can read more here about movie publishing here: https://docs.hit.movie/publish-m... .
