Hello PH community! I'm super excited to bring you the latest in quant finance interview preparation: Hireglyph!
🔍 Overview: Hireglyph is a Harvard/Berkeley backed startup transforming quant finance interview preparation through its online collaborative quant finance interview preparation platform. Hireglyph helps aspiring quant traders by providing hundreds of verified interview problems and a collaborative community to assist them in building out their answers and receiving feedback for challenging questions.
🗺 Our Mission: To make quant finance jobs more accessible, especially to those in non-target schools and underrepresented minorities in the field of quant finance. From an outsider’s perspective, the field is a blackbox. Quant interview preparation resources are scattered across books, videos, and personal anecdotes, with no centralized community or source of questions. The best, most transparent options tend to be pre-professional clubs and mock interviews, which aren’t readily accessible to the majority of people.
Hireglyph is here to equalize the playing field in quant finance — we want to centralize interview preparation and also bring together the quant + aspiring quant community at large. Whether you’re a student with no professional experience yet looking to grow your math/stats skills, or a software engineer looking to try a new career path, or a seasoned quant looking for some fun problems to solve, Hireglyph is the place for you.
🙋‍♂️ Other Offerings: Hireglyph also offers a bi-weekly newsletter (sign up on our website!) with over 1,200 subscribers that contains quant/finance internships and interview tips, and hosts a 350+ person Discord server (https://discord.gg/RyfHzDThuy) with additional preparation materials, open source projects, and additional guides.
We're looking for any and all feedback on our product! You can let us know what you think here (https://forms.gle/PMmxTLgADb5us2vr9), comment below, or reach out to us directly at admin@hireglyph.com and blkenfack@berkeley.edu.
Thank you, and happy hunting!
