Today we’re launching Hillarymoji, an emoji keyboard app featuring none other than the presumptive Democratic nominee herself. It’s part fangirl — and fanboy — trading card and part feminist power ballad. But it’s also an exploration into the changing landscape of political support and, more broadly, social activism.
We envision Hillarymoji to be both a rallying cry for Hillary supporters as well as a powerful fundraising tool. With a donation prompt integrated into the app, emojis are now part of the complex and disparate network of fundraising tactics. We’re betting that emojis might (might...) be an unexpected source of campaign funds. :)
