Hiliter and it will automatically highlight a list of links and keywords you want on any webpage that you visit. It's incredibly easy to find and navigate to the information that you need, without having to spend time manually scanning the page.
Ignore the noise!
I created a quick highlighting chrome extension that helps you find your site links and keywords (like our own name or site name). I built it to solve an internal issue we were having, but I wanted to put it out there in case anyone else could benefit from the functionality. It's free.
With just a few clicks, you can activate Hiliter and it will automatically highlight a list of links and keywords that you want to find on any webpage you visit. Just set it and forget about it. This makes it incredibly easy to find and navigate to the information that you need, without having to spend time manually scanning the page.
Want to respond to forum topics that only include the keyword "chatGPT"? Enter that keyword and voila! It will be highlighted whenever you visit a page with "chatGPT" on it.
Plus, our extension is customizable, so you can choose what works best for you. It'll be useful for busy professionals, students, or anyone who wants to avoid the noise and quickly find the information they're looking for on the web.
Potential Users
* Marketing Agencies – It’s an easy way for you to keep tabs on customer mentions in articles/forums
* PR Firms
* OEMs
* Brand Managers
* SEO Specialists - Where are you mentioned? Where are your links on a page? Are they NOFOLLOW links?
* Venture Capital Firms - Keep track of your investment mentions.
Also, when a link of yours is found, you can mouse over it to see if it's a NOFOLLOW link or not. Saves us time from looking at the HTML source to see this.
I hope someone else can use it and it saves them time as well. Thanks!
@sulemanelahi2 Thank you for these. Do you have anything entered on the blacklist tab? Also, when you right click and inspect the page, do you see any errors in the console tab?
@sulemanelahi2 I'm wondering if there is a conflict with perhaps another chrome extension on your machine? I used the same keywords on the same pages and it worked as expected. We'll keep looking at it though to find the bug. Thanks!
@gravyware_software
Yes there are errors in the console. I am using in Microsoft Edge. The error is persistent even after disabling all the other extensions. Nothing in the blacklist.
