Hi, Hello 👋🏽 I'm Manu, the co-founder and CEO of HiHello. Throughout the pandemic our team has been thinking about how we can help individuals and businesses. With California, Louisiana, and New York all adopting the Smart Heath standard for proof of vaccination, we finally found a way that we can help. The camera in the HiHello app can now scan and verify vaccination QR codes issued by the State of California. If you were vaccinated in the State of California, you can get your vaccination QR code at https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov. Once you have your QR code, you can scan if with the HiHello app and you can also save the information as a digital card in the HiHello app. And since the HiHello app was already designed to let you access your cards really easily via an iOS widget or the Apple Watch app, your proof of vaccination is just a tap away. Brilliant! I could've used this 4x in the last two weeks.

As SF is starting to require vaccination proof for pretty much anything indoors, I looked around to have my vaccination proof QR code handy on my phone. Since installing it, I also started using HiHello for managing and keeping track of my contacts. Really convenient to have it all in one place. The fact that I can verify someone's vaccination status was super handy too as I was interviewing some babysitters for my sons. It was so easy to get their vaccination status verified before scheduling a face-to-face interaction. I imagine it being pretty helpful for businesses requiring proof of vaccination as well.
