Heypenny helps you split bills and trips fairly. Scan a receipt, pick who got what, and we'll calculate who owes what with tip and tax. And settle up later with groups (premium) to split with happy hour friends, trip buddies, housemates, or anyone.
Hey Product Hunt, I’m excited to share Heypenny with you all!
It’s an Android and iOS app I've been working on for the last year that helps you split receipts, bills, and trips fairly. I’ve focused on making the app extremely easy to use, both for the organizer and the friends that they bring along.
My friend and I put together a lot of group trips, and like to put our cards down for dinners with friends to get those sweet credit card points. We tend to put off asking to be repaid because it's a lot of work to figure out who owes what (and ADHD lol). We knew there had to be a better way, but the existing apps out there just didn't cut it. So I quit my job and made Heypenny!
Although there's still plenty to do, I'm proud of what I've built and how useful it's been to our friend group! One of my friends told me they've been saying yes to more social things, knowing they don't have to worry about dinners/drinks being split fairly.
