hey all! it's been an awesome few months @ Helm! your feedback + love from last time was HUGE. so, here's what we've been up to: first - I'm a people person. I've also worked in 6 states this month. and one big thing I've noticed is that it's harder to build spontaneous, real connection over zoom + slack - especially when you're new to a community. that spontaneous connection goes so deep - it's not just how we work, it's why we work. and it makes the things we build so much better. so, with @michio_hillyer, @brad_browning, and @austin_drabik, we're re-launching Helm (2.0): the people wiki that makes genuine, meaningful connections. today, we're starting with the profile. once you make that, wait until you see what's in store! (a people wiki that stays automatically up-to-date, does the work to connect you, and makes it super easy to find people to talk to about...anything.) everyone deserves to be seen, understood, and loved. Couldn't be more excited for this launch 🚀 Together, we’ve been brainstorming, building, and launching software products for nearly 4 years now – and we’ve gained SO much from it. We really had no idea what we got ourselves into when we started Helm but our vision for a better world of work guided us forward. But we've also gotten stronger, more driven, more focused, and smarter every time. We've come to understand each other, our strengths, and our own potential even more.
