Helloha is a marketplace for a local experience. Helloha upgrades the local host with a ready-to-use platform and helps travelers to find attractive experience offers provided directly by the local people and create a fair price in the experience business.
In terms of design it does have a Slick UI/UX, responsive and enjoyable to use. But in terms of business, I don't see enough differentiation compete with other similar services. And to add on that, we don't know when the market for tourism will recover after covid. So generally it's a risky idea to develop unless there is a unique approach to problems based on current context. Just my 2 cents, keep on keeping on!
@bayu_wahyuadi hi Bayu, thanks a lot for the constructive feedback. At this starting point, from traveler point of view might be the same as the other services, but since this is a marketplace, once the host (service provider) grows organically, there will be many different offers with huge price range, which will boost the demand from travelers.
For the pandemic situation, we believe 2021 will be the recovery year and ideal to run this right now. But again, your feedback will help us to keep sharpen our value 🙏🏼
It's started when I was cycling from Indonesia to Nepal, I've met so many travelers and business owners, not just in the popular destination but also in provincial areas. Then I've discovered an opportunity gap in the local experience business and did the research along with my journey and make what Helloha is today. Building a product (and business) is totally different from designing a product. So, with all the flaws, I'm proudly present Helloha, a marketplace for local experience in (for now) Bali.
