Boost your social confidence through daily real-world challenges. Hatchr uses exposure therapy, the gold-standard method, to help you build confidence step by step—track progress, earn streaks, and grow at your pace, but surrounded by a community.
👋 Hey Product Hunt! We’re the founders of Hatchr — a gamified app to help people overcome social anxiety through real-world exposure challenges.
One of the founders actually grew up with social anxiety.
He was shy, avoided eye contact, scared to take space in public… the usual. But something unusual helped him break through: he started street performing as a breakdancer. That meant performing in public every day! It was terrifying at first, but he did it anyway.
Over time, something clicked. The fear didn’t vanish, but he stopped avoiding it. And that’s what changed everything. People started picturing him as an "extrovert".
Later in life, we all realized: he had stumbled into exposure therapy without knowing it. The most effective, science-backed way to overcome social anxiety… disguised as breakdancing on a sidewalk 😅
So we built Hatchr to bring that same power to anyone who needs it (without the breakdancing part, haha).
An app:
🧠 Based on exposure therapy, the #1 method for social anxiety
🎮 Gamified levels to track your progress + streaks to stay consistent
🤝 Built with a community of people all leveling up, together
We wish we had a tool like this when we were younger. Now we’re building it for anyone who feels stuck, held back, or alone in their social anxiety.
If that’s you or someone you know, we’d love for you to try it.
Let us know what you think, we’re here all day! 🙏

@thibault_mundele This is such a thoughtful and much-needed product. Turning exposure therapy into a gamified, supportive experience is brilliant—especially for something as isolating as social anxiety. Rooting for Hatchr!
@thibault_mundele @ritchrivia Let's gooo! This is us almost 10 years back 😂 You could catch us performing in any squares of the big cities. Now things have slighy changed... We came out of the street, took what what we learned and started Hatchr to help people with social anxiety :)
@ritchrivia@busmark_w_nika I wouldn't say we started to perfom in the goal of increasing our confidence, but years of performing in the street definitely helped us overcome social anxiety. Entertaining strangers who never asked for a show—and who could (and often would) ignore or reject us—taught us to care less about what others think and be more playful with life in general :)

@thibault_mundele So cool to see Hatchr on product hunt!!
I used to be the quiet one, the guy who’d rehearse small talk in his head before ordering coffee 😅
Now, I get to work on an app that helps people break out of that shell — one small challenge at a time.
If Hatchr helps even a few people feel less stuck and more confident, that’s a huge win for us.
Would love to hear your thoughts !

@ritchrivia @bigjjjim This is so cool! Did you really start with some performances to increase your confidence?

@ritchrivia @bigjjjim Guys, I love your approach! :D
Love the concept of hatching you've got going on! The UI and the mascot looks very 'cute' too. Will give this a try, congrats on the launch
