Hangurs is a community-driven rental marketplace for luxury wear and fashion. The opportunity to turn your closet into cash without selling a thing or wear the dress of your dreams without commitment and painful expense.
I think this is a really nice idea. There are a lot of clothes that are buyed for one specific day and never worn again. I am excited to see where this goes.
@fresh_food Thank you! I agree, as I am totally guilty of buying fashion I only wear once :) this way, I can keep items I love and make money at the same time!
Hey guys! I’m here for feedback! Hangurs is if Airbnb and Rent the Runway had a baby… the Airbnb of fashion, with an Uber element (delivery is on-demand).
Instead of renting from warehouses, we open up our closets to each other and keep the profits in house.. literally. Make your closet pay YOU rent without having to sell a thing!
No boxes or shipping hassles because there is a courier that delivers straight to your door. Same day delivery available for last minute events or schedule ahead!
Would you rent out your fashion? Gowns, costumes, blazers, accessories etc. You can’t wear everything at once, why not make money while netflix asks if you are still watching :)
Would you be a fashion renter and only pay 10% of retail price for amazing items you know you’re wearing once?
We view everything as an asset these days available for the shared economy: homes, cars, why not our fashion? Especially since our style and trends are so dynamic. We should be able to look good and feel good (no more buyers remorse). Plus it’s sustainable fashion - why buy when we can share?
Thanks in advance for your time and feedback :)
(Hangurs is live on the App Store if you want to check it out, for now only launched in Los Angeles.)
