HanaVerse, an open-source self-hosted web UI that transforms Ollama language models into an interactive experience with Hana, a 2D anime character who not only visually reacts to your conversations but also speaks responses through text-to-speech.
I created HanaVerse🌸, an open-source and self-hostable web UI for Ollama that offers something different from the typical chat interfaces out there. While most Ollama frontends are text-only , HanaVerse brings your AI conversations to life through Hana, an expressive 2D anime character who visually reacts and talks to you using text-to-speech.
1.🌟Animated Visual Presence: Unlike text-only interfaces, Hana appears as a fully animated character with emotions and reactions that respond to conversation context
2.🎤 Voice Synthesis: Hana actually speaks responses aloud through TTS, creating a multi-sensory interaction most other interfaces lack
3.👧🏻Personified AI Experience: Transforms abstract AI text into a character-based interaction that feels more like talking to someone rather than something
4.✨ Immersive Design Philosophy: Built to create emotional connection rather than just functional utility

Really cool concept. Congrats on the launch. We also just launched Mukh.1, a no-code platform to build AI agents and workflows with drag-and-drop simplicity. Check it out.
This project sounds super interesting! I have a couple of questions:
Does HanaVerse support multilingual TTS (text-to-speech)? For example, if I want to interact with Hana in other languages like Chinese or Japanese, is that possible?
Are there plans to add more characters or customization options in the future, such as customizing Hana’s appearance or voice?
@qilong Thanks for your comment, currently it is english only but sure there will be multilingual support in future .There is lot of plans for customization and improvement for the project in future . 😊😊
